1. 01 How long is the transfer from Hurghada Airport to Hurghada hotels?

   Transfers from Hurghada Airport to Hurghada hotels typically take 15–40 minutes depending on traffic and hotel location. Journey time varies by whether your hotel is in Sahl Hasheesh, El Gouna or central Hurghada. Peak evening periods and Ramadan timings can add extra time. We confirm an estimated transfer time when we issue your booking voucher.
2. 02 Is this a private transfer or a shared shuttle?

   This transfer is private and door-to-door; we do not operate shared coach transfers on this product. Unlike hotel shuttle buses, you go straight to your room without intermediate stops. An English-speaking driver is provided unless you request otherwise.
3. 03 What happens if my flight is delayed or cancelled?

   If your flight is delayed, we monitor the flight and adjust pickup times where possible. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and will confirm any revised pickup by phone or message; beyond the included waiting period additional charges may apply. If a flight is cancelled, contact your Discovery Tours Egypt adviser so we can advise on alternatives.
4. 04 Can the driver meet me at arrivals with a sign and help with luggage?

   Yes – our driver will meet you at arrivals holding a nameboard and can assist with luggage to the vehicle. Please confirm your arrival terminal and the name for the sign at booking. If you have oversized sports equipment or more than usual luggage, tell us in advance so we can provide a larger vehicle; porter services inside the terminal may be charged locally.
5. 05 Are child seats available for the transfer?

   Child seats are available on request for infants and children; please request them when you book. We will confirm suitability for your child’s age and weight and may apply a small supplement for multiple seats. If you prefer to bring your own car seat, tell us at booking so the driver can accommodate it.
6. 06 Are tips and extras included in the transfer price?

   Gratuities and certain extras are not included in the transfer price. Common extras include porter fees, additional waiting time and more than one child seat; we will advise any supplements when we confirm your transfer. We recommend having small Egyptian pounds for tipping drivers and porters.
