How we think about a hotel
A hotel is where a holiday is quietly won or lost. It's the one place you return to every night, and the gap between a room over the Nile and a room over the car park almost never shows in the listing photo. We book hotels the way we'd book our own: by walking the floors, opening the windows and eating the breakfast before we put a single guest in the building.
Because we work inside Egypt — offices, contracts going back to 1988 — we hold net rates directly with the properties: the price a hotel gives the trade, not the public screen price. You can book a hotel on its own, or let us thread it through a full itinerary so the transfer, the cruise and the guide all meet in the right lobby at the right hour.

Cairo & Giza
Pyramid-view rooms on the Giza plateau, or a quieter base in Zamalek by the river. Twenty minutes apart, two completely different mornings.
Luxor
Nile-view hotels on the East Bank, a short walk from Karnak's evening light. Wake on the side of the river the sun rises over.
Aswan
The gentlest city on the Nile. Old-Cataract grandeur above the rapids, or a Nubian guesthouse on the west bank with feluccas at the door.
Hurghada
The main Red Sea resort city — large beachfront hotels, Sahl Hasheesh and Soma Bay south, El Gouna north. House-reef resorts where the snorkelling starts at the end of the pier.
El Gouna

Makadi Bay
A sheltered arc of coast south of Hurghada — large beachfront resorts on a gentle bay, the reef a short walk from every hotel, and a road to Luxor through the Eastern Desert.
Sharm El Sheikh
Naama Bay's promenade, Sharks Bay dive resorts and the family beaches along Nabq — Sinai's resort capital, with some of the finest coral anywhere right off the hotel beach.
Dahab
A dive and kite town on the Gulf of Aqaba — the Blue Hole ten minutes north, cushion restaurants on the promenade, and Mount Sinai an hour up the desert road.
Marsa Alam

Sonesta St. George sits on Luxor’s Nile Corniche on the East Bank, a short drive from Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and arrange private transfers, Egyptologist-guided pickups and timed-entry tickets where available. Distinctive POV: we do not run large coach arrivals; private transfers reduce waiting and help with early starts. Compared with cruise-based stays, staying on the East Bank cuts crossing time to West Bank sites in the morning. Trade-offs: Corniche traffic can be audible in road-side rooms and riverside rooms face more sun in mid-afternoon.
Obelisk Nile Hotel, Aswan Nile Corniche
Obelisk Nile Hotel in Aswan provides practical, mid-range accommodation for overnight stays and day-trip departures. We use it for short Aswan stops rather than replacing a multi-night Nile cruise or a larger riverside hotel. Unlike Nile cruise vessels, a hotel stay here allows later arrivals and simpler private transfers to Philae and Abu Simbel. Barceló Cairo Pyramids Hotel, Giza
Barceló Cairo Pyramids Hotel sits on the Giza edge, with rooftop terraces that face Khufu and Khafre. We use this hotel when clients want a clear pyramid view without staying on the plateau itself. The hotel provides a rooftop pool, an on-site restaurant and rooms with direct pyramid views when available. It is approximately a 10–15 minute private-car transfer to the Giza Plateau; traffic can lengthen journeys to central Cairo and the Egyptian Museum (typically 30–45 minutes). Expect some road noise on the main approach road, and book pyramid-view rooms early–they are limited.

Novotel 6 October is a full-service hotel in 6th of October City, west of central Cairo. As a licensed Egyptian tour operator, we arrange private airport transfers, timed departures and guided excursions from this base. We often recommend it for clients with business in Smart Village; we do not usually advise it for short, first-time sightseeing stays in central Cairo because journeys to the Egyptian Museum or Khan al-Khalili commonly exceed 40 minutes in peak traffic. Expect 35–60 minutes by private car to the Giza Plateau (Khufu, Khafre, Menkaure) depending on traffic. On-site parking and quieter suburban streets are practical advantages.
Hilton Luxor – Nile Corniche, East Bank
Hilton Luxor is an international-brand hotel in Luxor that we book for travellers seeking consistent service and straightforward logistics. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and arrange private transfers, room requests and guided-excursion departures. Distinctive POV: we prefer boutique hotels for extended stays because they offer more local character; Hilton Luxor suits short stays or tightly timed itineraries. Compared with small guesthouses, Hilton centralises check-in and on-site services, which helps when flights arrive late. Trade-offs: busier public areas, less local character and higher peak-season rates than smaller properties. We can request specific room types and early breakfasts to match departures for Luxor West Bank sites.
Helnan Dream Hotel, Cairo

Unlike a resort stay, this is a city hotel, with Cairo’s streets and landmarks beyond the lobby. Egypt hotels, answered
01Can I book a hotel in Egypt without booking a tour?+
Yes. We book hotels on their own, with or without a wider itinerary. Plenty of guests start with a hotel and a couple of transfers, then add a guide or an excursion once they've arrived. Tell us the city and dates and we'll send options at our net rate.
02Are your hotel rates cheaper than booking online?+
Often, and rarely more. We hold net trade rates negotiated directly with the properties — the same ones the public booking sites mark up. Where an online price is genuinely lower, we'll say so and book it that way. The bigger saving is usually the hotel that's better placed for the same money.
03Are the Giza pyramid-view rooms worth the premium?+
For a night or two, for most people, yes — waking to the pyramids over breakfast is part of why you came. They cost more, and the rooms are sometimes older than newer hotels in the city. We'll tell you which specific property earns the premium and which is selling the view alone.
04What star ratings do you book?+
Everything from clean, well-run heritage guesthouses to 5-star Nile palaces and Red Sea resorts. Egyptian star ratings are inconsistent, so we judge a property on the room, the location and the service rather than the badge on the door.
05Is breakfast or an airport transfer included?+
Breakfast is included at almost every hotel we book, and we confirm it on your quote. Airport transfers are separate but simple to add — a private, flight-tracked meet-and-greet from the terminal to your hotel door.
06Can you hold a room while I decide?+
Usually. Most properties allow a short option period before payment, longer in low season. Tell us you're close to deciding and we'll hold the specific room rather than the room type, so the Nile view doesn't get sold from under you.
