Egypt Discovery is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across all pages. Accessibility is an ongoing programme of work, and we review and improve conformance regularly.
Conformance Status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, which means some content may not yet fully meet the standard. We are aware of these areas and are working to address them.
What We've Done
- Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard alone
- Colour contrast — text meets the WCAG 4.5:1 minimum contrast ratio for normal text
- Alternative text — informative images carry descriptive alt text; decorative images use empty alt attributes
- Skip links — a skip-to-main-content link appears at the top of every page
- Semantic HTML — pages use landmark regions, a logical heading hierarchy and ARIA labels to support assistive technology
Assessment Method
We assess accessibility through a combination of automated testing tools and manual keyboard and screen-reader checks during development.

If you find content you cannot access, or experience a barrier not listed above, please tell us and we will do our best to help. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 5 working days.
