1. 01 How long is the transfer from Luxor to Aswan?

   The drive takes about three and a half to four hours by road, depending on traffic and stops. We use the main coastal/Nile-side route; travel time can increase in busy periods or during roadworks. Unlike overnight sleeper trains or cruise transfers, this is door-to-door and avoids station or dock luggage handling.
2. 02 What is the distance between Luxor and Aswan by road?

   The road distance is roughly 220 kilometres between central Luxor and central Aswan. Most of the route follows the Nile-side highway with short stretches through towns such as Edfu and Kom Ombo. Expect one or two brief refreshment or fuel stops on a private transfer.
3. 03 What vehicles do you provide for a private hotel-to-hotel transfer?

   We provide an air-conditioned private sedan, SUV or minivan depending on party size and luggage. We do not run large coach transfers for this route; we operate only private cars and minibuses for hotel-to-hotel transfers. Child seats are available on request but must be booked in advance.
4. 04 Can we stop at Kom Ombo or Edfu temples en route?

   Yes – short stops for photos or refreshments are normal; guided temple visits are optional extras. Temple visits require entrance tickets and a licensed guide or Egyptologist, which we can arrange but do not include in the standard transfer. Allow an extra one to two hours for meaningful visits at Kom Ombo or Edfu.
5. 05 Will the driver speak English and meet us at the hotel?

   You will be met by our driver at your hotel and driven straight to your Aswan hotel. Drivers are experienced local professionals; conversational English is common but they are not formal Egyptologist guides. If you want an English-speaking guide for commentary or temple visits, we can add one to the transfer.
6. 06 What is included in the private transfer price?

   The price covers the private, air-conditioned vehicle, professional driver, fuel and standard road tolls. As a licensed Egyptian tour operator we do not include guided excursions, temple entrance fees, premium tolls, or gratuities unless stated. Any requested stops for temple visits or extra services are quoted and invoiced separately.
