02Overview
A first look
This is a nine-hour shared day in Wadi El Gemal National Park, a protected area south of Marsa Alam. You travel through the wadi, a dry riverbed, then along a coast edged with mangroves. The afternoon is for Sharm El Luli, a beach of white sand where you can swim and snorkel. Gazelles and turtles live in the park, though they are wild and may not show themselves. Park entry, lunch and kit are included. The group is capped at 16 guests, so it feels small.

The Wadi El Gemal day runs under our ETAA Licence 718 (Category A) and IATA accreditation, and flights to Egypt are not part of what we sell.02Where do you collect from, and when?

Yes. On the Wadi El Gemal day, children under 2 travel free, ages 2 to 11 pay half the adult fare, and ages 12 and over pay the full adult fare. Tell us each child's age on your the Wadi El Gemal day request and we will check the details with the operator.04What wildlife might we see in the national park?
Gazelles, birds and sea turtles live in or near the park, but they are wild and shy. Some days you see them and some days you do not, so we never promise a sighting. The landscape and the beach are the reliable part of the day.05What happens if my plans for the Wadi El Gemal day change?

It is shared with other guests, with no more than 16 in the group, so it feels more personal than a big coach tour. If you would like the day just for your party, ask us about a private version when you send your request.
