02Overview
A first look
Steigenberger Omar El Khayam is a five-star ship sailing Lake Nasser, the great reservoir behind the Aswan High Dam and a stretch of Nubia most holidaymakers never see. Between Aswan and Abu Simbel she calls at the temples rescued from the rising waters in the 1960s — Kalabsha, Wadi El Seboua, Amada and the clifftop fortress of Kasr Ibrim — before finishing beneath the colossi of Abu Simbel.
Sailings follow the classic lake pattern: four nights from Aswan on Mondays and three nights from Abu Simbel on Fridays. Cabins and fares are confirmed on request — let us know your dates and we will check availability directly with the operator.

Movenpick Prince Abbas Lake Cruise
Cruise aboard the Mövenpick Prince Abbas on Lake Nasser, operating from Aswan and serving the Abu Simbel corridor. We arrange the cruise logistics, local crew and onboard meals, as a licensed Egyptian tour operator. We do not run mass coach transfers; our transfers are private or small-group, timed to minimise waiting at the pier. Unlike coach-run shore excursions, this cruise gives a slower pace on the lake and direct access to Abu Simbel by boat or tender depending on the itinerary.
Nile3 Nights
Nubian Sea Lake Nasser Cruise
A four-day cruise from Aswan across Lake Nasser, visiting Kalabsha, Wadi El-Seboua, Amada and Abu Simbel with an Egyptologist. You start in Aswan with guided visits to Kalabsha Temple, Beit el-Wali and the Kiosk of Kertassi, then sail into the desert to explore temples at Dakka, Meharakka, Derr and the Tomb of Penout. The voyage includes full-board dining aboard the Nubian Sea and afternoons at leisure while the vessel moves between shores. We time the Abu Simbel visit for the cooler, less crowded hours and keep guided groups intentionally small. As a licensed Egyptian tour operator, we arrange your transfers, onboard accommodation and shore visits, and your Egyptologist accompanies every scheduled excursion.
Nile3 Nights
A Sara Nile Cruise
A Sara sails the Nile between Aswan and Luxor, calling at Kom Ombo, Edfu, the Valley of the Kings and Luxor's East Bank. Choose the Aswan-to-Luxor, four-day option that departs every Wednesday, or the five-day Luxor-to-Aswan option that departs every Saturday with an optional Abu Simbel extension. Days combine temple visits with short daytime sailings, so you spend more time ashore at Edfu and Kom Ombo than on many tightly timed itineraries. Evenings are spent on deck with river views and relaxed dining. We arrange the Abu Simbel excursion by coach or scheduled flight if you add it when you book.
