The arrival
Arriving at Aswan International Airport
Aswan is the gentlest arrival in Egypt, and the airport sits about twenty-five minutes south of the corniche. The transfer is short, but it's the kind of place where a pre-arranged car matters most – many guests land to start or finish a Nile cruise, or to make an early run at Abu Simbel, and the timing has to work.
We meet you by name past the baggage hall and drive you to a riverside hotel, an island-resort launch, or straight to your ship. If Abu Simbel is on the plan, we'll have the car and guide ready for the early start south. As everywhere, we track the flight, so an early landing or a delay simply moves the pickup with it.

Aswan Hotel & Nile Cruise to Aswan Airport Transfer
Private transfer from your Aswan hotel or Nile cruise to Aswan International Airport (ASW), with meet-and-greet and luggage assistance. We do not run shared coach transfers; each booking receives a private, air-conditioned saloon or minivan. Typical drive time from the Nile quayside is 20–30 minutes; allow extra time for peak-season traffic. We recommend arriving at Aswan Airport at least 90 minutes before domestic flights and two hours before international departures. Smaller saloons take two standard suitcases; request a minivan for three-plus large cases or for groups. Gratuities for drivers are not included. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and we arrange the vehicle, driver and meet-and-greet.
Aswan Airport to Aswan hotel or Nile cruise – private transfer
Private transfer from Aswan International Airport to your Aswan hotel or Nile cruise, typically a 30-minute drive. We operate as a licensed Egyptian tour operator and meet you inside international arrivals with a nameboard. Unlike transfers sold as airline add-ons, we monitor your flight and adjust pickup if it is delayed. Drivers assist with luggage and drop you at your hotel reception or the cruise gangway. Expect airport immigration to add 30–60 minutes during busy periods; we build that into our pickup timing. Gratuities are not included unless requested.
Aswan: Hotel or Cruise to Aswan Railway Station Transfer
We transfer guests from Aswan hotels or Nile cruises directly to Aswan Railway Station in private cars with English-speaking drivers. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and we do not operate mixed coach shuttles; every transfer is private and timed to your booked train. Unlike shared desk-sold shuttles, our routing goes direct to the station to avoid multiple hotel stops. Meet-and-assist and porter services are available on request for arrivals and departures. Note: Aswan station can be busy at peak departure times and platform assistance requires advance notice from us.
Aswan Train Station – private transfer to hotel or cruise
We provide private meet-and-greet transfers from Aswan Train Station to your Aswan hotel or Nile cruise on the Corniche. As a licensed Egyptian tour operator, we assign a private car and driver for every transfer; we do not run shared shuttle buses. Unlike coach transfers that wait at the bus station, our driver meets you on the platform or forecourt and helps with luggage. Note: station platforms can be busy and local traffic can add minutes, so please allow extra time for tight connections or delayed trains.
Luxor to Aswan Private Hotel Transfer
Private door‑to‑door transfer from a Luxor hotel to an Aswan hotel by air‑conditioned car. The drive between central Luxor and central Aswan is about 220 kilometres and takes roughly 3.5–4 hours without stops. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and provide a dedicated driver and meet‑and‑greet at your hotel; we do not run shared coaches. Unlike the overnight sleeper train, a private car keeps your luggage with you and allows optional Egyptologist‑led stops at Edfu (Temple of Horus) and Kom Ombo (Sobek and Horus) en route. Trade‑offs: the route is exposed to heat and dust; an early departure is usually more comfortable.

01 How long is the transfer from Aswan Airport to the city hotels? +
About twenty to twenty-five minutes to the cataract and corniche hotels and to the Nile cruise moorings. Island resorts are reached by the hotel's own launch, a short crossing on top of the drive – we factor that in when we time your pickup.
02 Can you take me from Aswan Airport to my Nile cruise? +
Yes – many cruises begin or end in Aswan, and we drive you straight from arrivals to your ship's gangway, about twenty-five minutes. Give us the cruise and the sailing date and the driver will meet your flight and deliver you to the boat.
03 Can you arrange Abu Simbel from Aswan with the transfer? +
Yes. Abu Simbel is about three hours south by road, an early start, and we can have the car and a guide ready straight off a morning flight or from your hotel. Tell us your nights and we'll advise whether the road trip or the short flight suits you better.
