The arrival
Arriving at Luxor International Airport
Luxor airport is small and the run into town is short, which makes the transfer the easy part of a Luxor arrival – as long as it's arranged. A named driver waiting past the baggage hall, in a car at a price agreed in advance, turns a hot afternoon arrival into a ten-minute glide to the corniche rather than a scrum at the rank.
Most hotels sit on the East Bank, ten to fifteen minutes from the terminal, and the Nile cruise ships moor in the center of town a few minutes further. The West Bank lodges, over the river by the bridge, run nearer half an hour. We track your flight either way, and we'll drop you at a hotel lobby or a ship's gangway exactly the same.

Hurghada to Luxor Transfer (Private Vehicle)
Private transfer from Hurghada to Luxor by air‑conditioned vehicle, approximately 290 km and 3.5–4 hours on the desert highway. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and we arrange door-to-door pickup from hotels and the port, with an English-speaking driver. We do not run group coach transfers; we use private cars so you control departure time, comfort stops and luggage handling. Scheduled domestic flights take about 50 minutes but add check-in time and luggage rules – we can quote flights on request. Road transfers involve long stretches without shade and basic roadside facilities; expect one short comfort stop en route.
Private transfer – Luxor cruise or hotel to Luxor Downtown
We provide private transfers from Luxor cruise docks or hotels to any hotel in Luxor downtown. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator. We do not combine passengers from different cruise boats or run shared minibuses; every booking gets a dedicated vehicle and driver. Our drivers meet you with a name board, help with luggage and drive in air-conditioned saloons or minibuses. Narrow downtown streets or cruise-boat gangways can require a short walk from the vehicle. If you have oversized luggage, tell us in advance so we allocate a larger vehicle.
Luxor to Hurghada Private Transfer
Travel by private, air-conditioned vehicle from Luxor to Hurghada in around four hours with door-to-door collection and an English-speaking driver. We do not run shared shuttle buses; every booking is a private transfer organised from our Luxor office. Unlike scheduled coaches, you choose the pick-up time and we tailor stops to your needs. The route runs mostly along the Red Sea highway with limited shade; the journey can feel long for travellers sensitive to extended road travel. We supply sedans, SUVs or minivans and can carry standard luggage; oversized items may require a second vehicle.
Luxor to Aswan Private Hotel Transfer
Private door‑to‑door transfer from a Luxor hotel to an Aswan hotel by air‑conditioned car. The drive between central Luxor and central Aswan is about 220 kilometres and takes roughly 3.5–4 hours without stops. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and provide a dedicated driver and meet‑and‑greet at your hotel; we do not run shared coaches. Unlike the overnight sleeper train, a private car keeps your luggage with you and allows optional Egyptologist‑led stops at Edfu (Temple of Horus) and Kom Ombo (Sobek and Horus) en route. Trade‑offs: the route is exposed to heat and dust; an early departure is usually more comfortable.
Luxor Airport (LXR) to Luxor Downtown Transfer
A private transfer from Luxor Airport (LXR) to Luxor Downtown covers about 6 km and typically takes around a 12‑minute drive, depending on traffic. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator; we meet you inside the arrivals hall with a name board, assist with luggage and provide a private saloon car or minivan. We do not run shared shuttles – every booking gets a dedicated vehicle timed to your flight. Unlike cruise- or hotel-shuttle transfers, we monitor flight arrivals and adjust pickup if your flight is delayed. Note: Luxor's small airport can be busy during peak season and curbside access may be slow; allow extra time for onward connections. Luxor Downtown to Luxor Airport Transfer
We provide private transfers from Luxor downtown hotels to Luxor International Airport; the journey typically takes 15–25 minutes. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and we assign an English-speaking driver who meets you in your hotel lobby and assists with luggage. We do not mix transfers with sightseeing stops – unlike shared shuttles, you travel direct. Sedans are supplied for small parties and minibuses for larger groups. Allow extra time for morning peak traffic or local festivals, and tell us your flight time precisely so we can schedule the earliest practical pickup.

Luxor airport transfers, answered
01 How long is the transfer from Luxor Airport to the city hotels? +
Ten to fifteen minutes to the East-Bank corniche hotels, and about the same to the Nile cruise moorings in the center of town. The West-Bank lodges, across the river by the bridge, are nearer twenty-five to thirty minutes. Luxor traffic is light, so these hold up well.
02 Can you take me from Luxor Airport straight to my Nile cruise ship? +
Yes – the ships moor on the East Bank in the center of Luxor, about fifteen minutes from the airport, and we drop you right at the gangway. Tell us the cruise and the sailing date and we'll have the driver meet your flight and deliver you to the boat.
03 How much is a Luxor airport transfer? +
Fixed and quoted up front for the whole car, not per person. Because the runs are short, Luxor transfers are among the cheapest in Egypt – send us your hotel or ship and we'll price it exactly.
04 What if my flight into Luxor is delayed? +

05 Can you drive me from Luxor to Hurghada or Aswan? +
Yes. We run city-to-city transfers as well as airport runs – Luxor to Hurghada is about four hours across the desert road, and Aswan is reachable by road or we can arrange the train. Tell us the two points and we'll fix the fare.
