02Overview

A first look

This is a four-hour city tour of Sharm El Sheikh, timed so that you see the town at dusk and after dark. A minibus collects you at about 16:00 and visits Al Mustafa Mosque, the Heavenly Cathedral and Al Sahaba Mosque, before an evening walk through the Old Market. The tour finishes at SOHO Square for free time and the fountain show, and you are back at your hotel at about 20:15. The minibus is shared, with up to 16 guests, and a local guide speaks English throughout. It suits visitors who want something cultural between beach days.

Asked & answered

Frequent questions

  1. 01How does the price for the city tour work?
The price is per person and covers the minibus, guide, water and hotel transfers. Food, drinks and shopping are extra, so bring cash for the market and SOHO Square. Prices are provisional until our team confirms your booking, and we confirm availability before payment.
  2. 02What time does the tour start and finish?
Collection is at about 16:00 from hotels in Naama Bay, Sharks Bay, Nabq, Hadaba and the Old Market area. The minibus leaves SOHO Square at about 20:15 and drops each guest at their hotel. Our team confirms your exact pick-up time after booking.
  3. 03Is the tour suitable for children?
Yes. Under 2s travel free, ages 2 to 11 pay half the adult price, and ages 12 and over pay the adult price. Children enjoy the market and the fountain show. The evening finishes quite late, so younger children may be tired by the end.
  4. 04What should I wear to visit the mosques and cathedral?
Cover your shoulders and knees for the mosques and the cathedral. Women should bring a scarf for the mosques. Wear comfortable shoes that are easy to take off, and bring small notes for the market. A light layer is useful, as evenings can feel cooler.
  5. 05How does cancellation work?
Cancel three or more days before for a full refund. Between three days and 24 hours before, half is refunded. Cancel within 24 hours, or fail to turn up, and no refund is given. Please tell us as early as you can, so that we can free your place.
  6. 06Is the tour private or shared?
It is shared, with a limit of 16 guests in the minibus. We are an Egyptian operator (ETAA Licence 718), not an ATOL or ABTA member, and we do not sell international flights. Booking is by request, and our Sharm El Sheikh team confirms availability before you pay.
