Asked & answered
Frequent questions
01How does the price for the private Cairo day trip work?
The price is per person and falls as your party grows, because the guide and vehicle are shared between you. It includes flights, transfers, guide, tickets and lunch. Prices are provisional until our team confirms your booking. Booking is by request, and we confirm availability and flights before you pay.02What time will I be collected, and what about my visa?
Collection is at about 04:00 for a flight at around 06:00, depending on the airline. A free entry stamp for Sharm and the rest of Sinai does not cover Cairo, so you need a full Egypt visa. Please check this before you book, and bring your passport on the day.03Can my children come, and do they need a flight seat?
Yes. The price for children is shown when you enter their ages in the request. Flights need a seat from age 2, so the cost rises at that age. The day is long and starts at 04:00, so consider how your child copes with early starts and long days before you book.04What should I bring and wear for Giza?
Bring your passport, a hat, sun cream and some cash for optional tickets. Wear comfortable shoes, because you walk on sand and uneven stone. Light clothing that covers your shoulders and knees suits both the sun and the museum. Pack light, as you carry everything all day.05What is the cancellation policy for this trip?
Cancel three or more days before for a full refund. Between three days and 24 hours before, half is refunded. Cancel within 24 hours, or fail to turn up, and no refund is given. Because flights are booked in advance, please tell us as early as you can.06Is this trip private, and who arranges it?
It is private, with a guide and vehicle for your party only. We are an Egyptian operator (ETAA Licence 718), not an ATOL or ABTA member, and we do not sell international flights. Domestic flights on this trip are booked by us and included. Group size is limited to 15.
