Asked & answered
Frequent questions
01What does the price for the Ras Mohammed boat trip cover?
The price is per person and includes the boat, snorkelling guide, equipment, lunch, drinks, the park fee and hotel transfers. A winter wetsuit, towels and underwater photos cost extra. Prices are provisional until our team confirms your booking, and we confirm availability before payment.02When is the hotel pick-up in Sharm?
Collection is at about 08:00 from hotels in Naama Bay, Sharks Bay, Nabq, Hadaba and the Old Market area. Our team confirms your exact time after booking. The boat is back at the jetty at about 16:00, and the transfer to your hotel follows.03Is the boat trip suitable for children?
Yes. Under 2s travel free, ages 2 to 11 pay half the adult price, and ages 12 and over pay the adult price. Children should be happy in the water and wear a life jacket if the crew advises it. The sailing time is long for very small children.04What should I pack for the day on the boat?
Pack swimwear, a towel, reef-safe sun cream, a hat and sunglasses, and bring a dry change of clothes. Keep your passport or a copy for the jetty. If you tend to feel seasick, take tablets before you board. In winter, a wetsuit can be hired.05What happens if the weather stops the boat?
Cancel three or more days before for a full refund, or between three days and 24 hours before for half. Inside 24 hours, or if you do not turn up, nothing is refunded. If the port authority stops sailings because of weather, your trip is moved to another day or refunded.06Is the boat shared with other guests?
Yes, up to 40 guests share the boat. We are an Egyptian operator (ETAA Licence 718), not an ATOL or ABTA member, and we do not sell international flights. Our Sharm El Sheikh team runs the trip. Booking is by request, and we confirm availability before you pay.
