Lunch is at a restaurant on the shore, followed by snorkelling at the Blue Hole and an hour in Dahab. The vehicle is shared, with a limit of 16 guests. Frequent questions
01What does the price for the canyon and Blue Hole day cover?
The price is per person and covers the 4x4, guides, lunch, mask and snorkel, entry fees and water. Fins, life jackets and camel rides at the Blue Hole are paid for on the day. Prices are provisional until our team confirms your booking, and we confirm availability before you pay.02What time is the pick-up from my hotel in Sharm?
Collection is at about 06:00 from hotels in Naama Bay, Sharks Bay, Nabq, Hadaba and the Old Market area. Your exact time is confirmed after booking. If you want a breakfast box from your hotel, ask the evening before. Drop-off is between about 17:30 and 17:45.03Are children allowed on this 4x4 trip?
Children must be at least 8 years old. Under 2s travel free, ages 2 to 11 pay half the adult price, and ages 12 and over pay the adult price. The canyon involves scrambling and the day is long, so consider how your child copes with rough ground and long drives before you book.04Which shoes and clothes suit the canyon?
Wear sturdy shoes with grip, because the canyon floor is rocky and you scramble in places. Bring swimwear and a towel for the Blue Hole, plus a hat and sun cream. Your passport is essential for the road checkpoints. Keep some cash for fin hire and other extras.05Can I get a refund if my plans change?
Cancel three or more days before the trip for a full refund. If you cancel between three days and 24 hours ahead, half is refunded. Inside 24 hours, or if you do not turn up, there is no refund. Please tell us as early as you can.06How many people share the 4x4, and who runs the trip?
Up to 16 guests share the 4x4 with you. Our Sharm El Sheikh office runs it. We are an Egyptian operator (ETAA Licence 718), not an ATOL or ABTA member, and we do not sell international flights. Booking is by request.
